Strategic Communications to Mobilize Around Your Cities United Agenda

The Wonder: Strategies for Good team led a strategic communications webinar to equip city leads and others active in local Cities United efforts with the messaging and tools they need to help mayors and city leaders see and understand the value and impact of Cities United as a key resource and partner. Youth Employment/Summer Employment: Cities United Webinar
One of the foundational principles of Cities United is incorporating workforce development initiatives into all strategies for an effective violence prevention/reduction effort. The connection between unemployment, high school graduation rates, and well-being for African American males continues to be illuminated in current research and initiatives. Cities United is committed to supporting its Partner Cities in the creation of a strategic workforce development approach that leads to better outcomes and contributes to the reduction of violence and violence-related deaths of African American males. To that end, Cities United is pleased to bring representatives from Hampton, VA, Louisville, KY, and the White House together for a webinar to discuss strategies, resources, and information related to youth employment/summer employment focusing on addressing the needs of African American males.
