Technical Assistance

Cities United makes technical assistance available to strengthen efforts in support of eliminating violence-related deaths of African American males. This includes:

  •  A pool of experts that cities can engage to assist with designing, developing, and implementing a solution focused process
  • Assisting cities in developing engagement strategies that involve African American men and boys in owning the problem and solution to eliminating violence-related deaths in their neighborhoods
  • Assisting cities in developing peer learning networks
  • Helping cities broker access to leaders from federal and local agencies, philanthropic organizations, and community based organizations
